GW3835G – 38 x 35mm Deep Profile Stretcher Bars
GW3835G is a 38 x 35mm pine wooden stretcher bar in Gowin’s Deep Profile Stretcher Bars range. Its 38mm frame depth provides a substantially deeper profile than Gowin’s standard profiles while retaining a 35mm width. It is supplied for decorative canvas, wall decor, printed canvas frames and wholesale canvas-frame production where greater frame depth is required.
Compared with the standard GW2040 20 x 40mm profile, GW3835G is 18mm deeper and 5mm narrower. It is 20mm deeper and 5mm narrower than the GW1840S 18 x 40mm profile. Final selection should also consider the complete frame dimensions, canvas specification, stretching tension, internal support requirement and final application.
GW3835G is available in tenoned or non-tenoned structures, with listed lengths up to 300cm. When internal support is required, the frame system can be configured with GWD1635-G 16 x 35mm or GWD3828-G 38 x 28mm Supporting Bars.

Product Features
38 x 35mm Deep Profile
GW3835G measures 38mm deep x 35mm wide. Its greater depth clearly separates it from Gowin’s 18 x 40mm and 20 x 40mm standard profiles. Greater frame depth does not automatically make a profile Heavy Duty; final selection should also consider the finished frame size, canvas weight, stretching tension and planned supporting structure.
Raised Canvas-Contact Lip
The profile includes a raised outer lip that provides clearance between the stretched canvas and the main face of the wooden bar.
Tenoned and Non-Tenoned Options
For the tenoned version, the four bars are normally assembled by fitting the machined corner joints together, so conventional frame nailing is generally not required for basic assembly. Additional reinforcement may still be used according to the frame size, profile design, assembly method and application.
Non-tenoned structures can be supplied when you have your own tenoning machinery or use direct-nailing assembly. Pre-assembled frames may also be secured with staples according to the assembly and packing method.
Corner Fit Confirmation
Corner fit can be discussed during sampling. Some production teams prefer a tighter joint for light hammer-assisted assembly, while programs requiring easier hand assembly may need a different fit.

Bespoke Profile Requirements
If your project requires a different thickness, width, edge profile, corner structure or assembly fit, provide a profile drawing or physical sample together with the required lengths and estimated quantities. Feasibility, sampling and MOQ can then be confirmed.
Wood, Production and Quality Information
GW3835G is made from pine wood. Gowin uses pine because its supply is stable and longer lengths are available for stretcher bar production. Finger-jointed construction allows selected pine sections to be joined for the production of longer bar lengths, while kiln drying helps control moisture before machining.
During production, we check profile dimensions, surface sanding, joint fit, moisture control and packing condition. Regular pine supply may include slight sound knots. If a cleaner appearance or stricter wood grade is required, please specify this before sampling and quotation, as it may affect material selection and pricing.
Packing and Export Supply
OEM and private-label packing are available. Packing and labeling requirements can be confirmed according to the bar lengths, profile dimensions, corner structure, quantities and shipping method.
